Partnerships with Parents

The nursery team value and recognise the importance of working in partnership with all parents.

At Little Explorers Forest School each child is allocated a key worker. Key Workers are the child’s special person at nursery, who will care for them, help settle them in and keep the lines of communication open between home and the setting.

Daily feedback sheets are sent home each session, in order to share important information about your child, including: activities they have enjoyed exploring, what they have eaten and key achievements that the staff have noted that day.

You can also expect frequent newsletters and parent forums, these support the two way flow of information and allow our nursery practise to evolve in response to parent’s needs. We have regular open sessions where you can come into nursery and work alongside your child , sharing activities and having fun together.
